Robert began his professional career at VSI, and during his tenure, he has gained extensive experience in a variety of valuation engagements, including operating businesses in various industries, private note receivables, split dollar receivables, guaranty fees, and real estate holding entities. Robert has worked with many different attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors for business valuations in the context of gift and estate tax planning and reporting, income tax planning, litigation support, divorce, and corporate planning. Robert has been involved in numerous complex valuation projects, many of which dealt with intricate organizational structures, multi-layered ownership classes, and sophisticated financial instruments. His expertise also includes conducting option pricing models and valuing carried interests in different investment vehicles.
Robert graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Washington, D.C.
