EXPERIENCE

Stuart Bassin began his career in public accounting in 1988 at KPMG Peat Marwick and audited publicly traded companies. In 1990, he joined The Zitelman Group as Vice President, where he is actively involved and provides investment and merchant banking services, and financial management and oversight to closely held companies. In 1994, Mr. Bassin co-founded Valuation Services, Inc., an affiliate of The Zitelman Group, where he serves as Principal and provides valuation and litigation support services for clients with assets up to $400M. He has extensive experience in broadcast and telecommunications, real estate, residential and commercial construction, property management, government contracting, technology, restaurants and retail businesses. In 1999, he was appointed as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Bassin has published articles and presented, and is an active member of national and local valuation related professional organizations.
